OLD SCHOOL FRIDAYS: Duets & MY BLOG LINKS for The Boomer Divas!

HELLO MY FELLOW TTers! If you clicked my first (and erroneous link) and landed here for my Oct. 22 TT, my apologies and here's the right link: Thirteen Reasons Not To Stand On a Chair To Reach Things. I must have hit my head as well as my leg!!! Sorry!

I participate in a meme called "Old School Fridays" - usually on The PopArtDiva Retro Pop Culture Blog - but today I'm posting here because I'm featuring The Righteous Brothers. Why here? Because these two guys sang the best DIVA music in the world! Romantic, sexy and rockin' good music from the days of my youth!

And let's face it girls - Bill Medley's voice was such a turn on! Here's my boys singing "Burn On Love" , written by Jackie DeShannon!: (Baby Boomer Divas: My blog post links are below the video - enjoy this video!)

  1. Wow, I love that Righteous Bros. tune! I had never heard it until now. I must have listened to it about 20 times in a row. By the way, I love watching footage from 1960s rock shows like "Shindig".

  2. If I hadn't seen the video, I would have sworn it was motown...

  3. Malcolm - I watched every one of those shows live in the 60s. Honestly, I even watched Hullabaloo (forgive me, Lord, I am a Nerd), lol!

Mrs. Grapevine - Oh yeah, those boys had some soul!!!
